Waterproof, Windproof, Warm and Cosy: Our Premium Wheelchair Cover is made from 3 layers- An outer layer of Polyester with a PU coating making it 100% waterproof then a thermal padded insulation centre finished with a soft and cosy polar fleece. We have used a quilted polar fleece that will not leave fluff on clothing.
Removable Front Panel: We have designed this wheelchair leg cover to be adaptable to the change of weather, we have all experienced days out one minute its wet and windy and the next minute sun appears. Our warm fleece lined cosy has a fully removable front panel for if weather gets warmer. This panel can be stored away in the storage bag provided and placed on the back of the wheelchair; it can also be quickly re attached when needed. This can all be done without the person leaving the chair.
Safety First: This cover has a maximum chunky zipped opening as well as a very low threshold to make getting in and out of the cosy safer and easier. We have increased the size of the foot base to make this cover much more comfortable for the user and less restrictive. The base of the cover is ultra-tough and can be stood in whilst on the ground with no problem. The base is also wipeable on both the inside and outside so can be used whilst still wearing shoes.
Features: Extra strong attachments to easily secure the cover to the wheel chair keeping in place and not slipping and moving around whilst in use. Cosy concealed fleece lined hand pockets for colder days. There is both an internal and external zipped pocket for personal items such as a mobile phone or purse. If you spill something on the cover this is not an issue as it can be machine washed.
